About us

The GoBarcelona Tours team counts with several local licensed guides that guide year round, this is our only job. We are committed to guiding, which means that on our free time we keep exploring new places, trying new restaurants and learning about everything that might be related to our tours. We enjoy meeting and welcoming people from abroad, travelers or tourists to Catalonia, and we love telling about our history, culture, food, traditions, architecture, life-style and about many other subjects, this is why we became guides! We just made our hobby into our career.

Most of us were born and raised here in Barcelona, we hold at least one University degree and we speak several languages, including English, of course! Meet some of our guides:

Gemma Coll (Barcelona, 1980)

Degree in Translation and Interpreter Studies at the Autonomous University of Barcelona; degree in History at the University of Barcelona. 5 years working and living abroad (UK and Norway). Guides in English, French, Catalan and Spanish but also has some knowledge of Russian, German, Italian, Portuguese and Norwegian.


Anna Mas

Anna Mas (Barcelona, 1983)

Degree in Tourism Business and East Asian Studies (Specialized in Japanese Language and Society). 3 years working and living abroad (France and Japan). Excellent communication skills in 5 languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, French and Japanese.

Anna Diaz (Barcelona, 1981)

Degree in Tourism at the University of Girona. Half a year studying and living in France. Guides in English, Catalan and Spanish, but also has some knowledge of French.

  Lluís Bayot (Sitges, 1978)

Degree in Humanistic Studies, University of Barcelona. Official guide of Catalonia. His great knowledge of Barcelona comes from many years of working with several cultural institutions and museums of the city. Guides in English, French, Spanish and Catalan.

Ester Egea (Manresa, 1980)

Degree in Tourism, master degree in marketing and international business. Ester lived 3 years in Vienna to improve German and afterwards began to work as a guide for American students traveling around Europe. In 2010 became a licensed guide in Catalonia and a full time guide.



Dolça Lafarque (Girona, 1980)

Dolça studied Art History in the University of Barcelona. As a student she began working as a guide for some museums and cultural itineraries in the city. She lived 2 years in Bologna and a few months in London. She speaks English, Italian, Catalan and Spanish but also has some knowledge of Portuguese and French. She became a licensed tour guide in 2012.
