I don’t have or own a credit card, how do I book?

You can transfer your deposit. Please send an email to info@gobarcelonatours.com in order to book using a different payment method than Paypal.


Do I need to reconfirm my booking before arrival?

It is not a requirement. Please make sure you stated correctly the date, time and meeting point when booking your tour. If you are not sure or some of these details changed (hotel, starting time of the tour, etcetera) please write us an email as soon as possible.


Can you please resend my booking confirmation details?

Yes. Please send us an email to info@gobarcelonatours.com stating your full name (per your registration) and date and name of the tour booked.


Payment

I’m not sure if my booking was processed, how can I find out if it was processed?

Please contact us with your booking details (including your full name, date and tour). We will check to see if we have received your booking request successfully and will be in contact with you via email.


Why is the amount charged for my booking different to my credit card statement?

The value of the transaction may be subject to taxes, foreign transaction, currency exchange or other fees. Your bank or credit or debit card company may convert the payment into the local currency and charge fees, resulting in differences between the amount displayed on GoBarcelona Tours website, and the final amount charged to your bank account or credit or debit card statement. Please contact your bank or card company if you have any questions concerning any applicable conversion or fees.

If you believe there has been an error in the billed amount for your booking, please contact us.


I keep getting a credit card error whilst trying to book, what do I do?

Our booking process is completely automated and all credit card transactions are 100% secure. If your credit card is generating a consistent error, verify that your card has not expired. You may also contact the card issuer to confirm your monthly spending limit has not been exceeded. For further assistance please contact us.

What payment methods are available for booking a guide?

All major credit cards and PayPal are accepted.


I have fully paid my tour but I have to cancel it. How much I get refunded?

If you cancel at least 7 calendar days in advance, there is no cancellation fee.
If you cancel between 3 and 6 calendar days in advance, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
If you cancel within 2 calendar days in advance, you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee.

The commission fee for international money transfer will be deducted from the total amount to be refunded.


I have booked a tour and paid the deposit, but when do I pay the remaining amount due?

The remaining balance is payable by cash on the day of your tour. The amount outlined on the booking confirmation notice (emailed to you) is the legal amount due to your tour guide.

You can also pay the remaining balance by card 72 hours prior to your tour. On the last three days before your tour, payments by card or online transfer will not be accepted because GoBarcelona Tours might not receive the payment details before your tour.


I paid a deposit. Are there any cancellation fees?

If you cancel the tour at least 7 calendar days in advance, there is no cancellation fee.

If you cancel the tour between 3 and 6 calendar days in advance, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.

How is the deposit calculated?

The deposit is approximately 30% of the total cost of the tour.


Is there a booking fee?

It is 100% free!


Can I pay in other currencies?

All payments have to be in the local currency in Spain, Euro.

Select the tour and the date it suits you. Proceed to pay a deposit in order to confirm your booking or, if you prefer, pay the full cost of the tour to avoid carrying cash on the day of the tour. You will receive a receipt and a booking confirmation by email. Please show it to your guide on the day of the tour (on your mobile device screen or printed).
