Our first stop will be Girona, just an hour and fifteen minutes away from Barcelona. We will begin the visit just by river Onyar and for a couple of hours we will explore the small cobblestone streets in the ancient quarter and discover many well preserved ancient constructions such as churches and palaces. On this guided tour there will be the possibility of visiting the Cathedral and its museum, the Arabic Baths, the Museum of the Jews or the Art Museum of Girona, depending on your interests. We will also walk on the medieval city walls and from the watch towers we will have the best views of Girona and the Valleys around. You will have some free time to seat and drink a coffee in La Rambla of Girona or shop in the small magazines around.
Afterwards we will head eastwards, towards the Costa Brava, stopping on the way in the historical town of Peratallada, a medieval gem. We will go for a walk in the stony streets to imagine how was life hundreds of years ago.
In the afternoon we will get to one of the seaside towns in the Costa Brava. Time to relax by the sea, bathe, go for a walk in one of the trails or eat some late lunch.
This tour lasts 9 hours and involves a certain amount of walking in cobble stone and steep streets, so comfortable shoes are recommended.
